YOBE STATE TOPS TERTILITY RATE IN NIGERIA

In 2024, Yobe State recorded Nigeria’s highest fertility rate at 7.5 births per woman , while Rivers State recorded recorded the lowest, according to.Niveris's Demographic and Health Survey.

The survey shows the entire country's fertility rate as follows;
