POPULAR ENUGU POLITICIAN, IKECHUKWU OLOTO, ASSASSINATED

A popular politician in Enugu State, Prince Ikechukwu Oloto, better known as Okanga Moo, has reportedly been killed by unknown gunmen in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Oloto was allegedly attacked and killed inside his residence at Odenigbo, Nsukka, on Thursday evening.

According to reports circulating on social media, the attackers allegedly used a knife to kill the politician.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, while the identities and motives of the attackers have yet to be established.

Confirming the development in a Facebook post, social media influencer Sen. Chijinkem Ugwuanyi said Oloto was killed by unknown gunmen at his residence in Odenigbo.

Ugwuanyi wrote: “Prince Ikechukwu Oloto, aka ‘Okanga Mo’, was killed yesterday evening by unknown gunmen in Nsukka, right in his residence at Odenigbo.

“He was brutally cut into pieces.”

As of the time of filing this report, there was no official statement from the Enugu State Police Command on the incident.
