FATHER ALIA IS A LIAR – ORTOM

Former governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom has described the governor of Benue state, Hyacinth Alia as a liar.

This statement was contained in a video that was posted on the official X handle of Channels TV on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

This is coming after the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Peter Obi was prevented from entering Benue state.

In the video that surfaced online, Ortom stated that the governor of Benue state was responsible for the attack on the vehicle of Peter Obi.

Here is what Samuel Ortom said;

“It is unfortunate that a supposed Reverend father is telling lies. He knows what he did. Can he come out here and swear by the bible that he was not aware of what happened yesterday? It was a deliberate attempt. He did it”.
