MY WIFE WILL FORFEIT INHERITANCE IF SHE REMARRIES – IWUANYANWU’S WILL

The Will of late Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, former Ohanaeze Ndigbo leader, has sparked controversy for barring his wife, Lolo Frances, from remarrying if she wishes to keep her inheritance.

The Will, revealed on June 16, 2025, states that Frances would forfeit properties—including the “Legacy House” in Owerri, Magil Furniture, and real estate stakes—if she marries again.

Other provisions include passing the Abuja home to their son and selling a London property, with proceeds supporting his children’s needs. Iwuanyanwu also directed that the “Glass House” near Orji flyover be turned into a charitable Trust.

His children described the Will as fair, though public attention remains focused on the remarriage condition.
