REACTION AFTER RIVERS ASSEMBLY MEMBERS WERE SEEN IN LONDON

There has been a variety of reactions from social media users after members of the Rivers State House of Assembly were seen in London.

The images were posted on the official X account of Lere Olayinka, who is the Special Assistant on Media to former Governor of Rivers State and current FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

In the photos that circulated online, Speaker Martin Amaewhule was spotted sitting alongside the other members.

Lere Olayinka explained in his post that the lawmakers had traveled to the UK to participate in a legislative training program. He mentioned that the training would last for five days.

He captioned it, “Rivers State House of Assembly members in the UK for legislative training. Day one of a five-day training held in Central London, focused on ‘Legislative Dynamics in the Presidential and Parliamentary Systems.’”

The post quickly garnered several responses from social media users.
