Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu, has sent a strong warning to the Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, over the situation in Enugu State.

In a post on her verified X handle on Wednesday, Yesufu called on the governor to call his people to order and let Enugu people breathe.

She cited former Governors Godwin Obaseki of Edo State and Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State as examples for Mbah to learn from.

According to her, in 2022, ex-governor Godwin Obaseki was occupying the same seat that Governor Mbah is occupying today in Enugu, and Nasir El-Rufai was also occupying the same position in Kaduna State.

She added that she personally believes El-Rufai was one of the most instrumental persons who helped Bola Tinubu to be President, pointing out his present ordeal at the hands of the same man.

“Dear Governor Mbah, in 2022, Obaseki was once occupying the seat you are occupying in Enugu. So also was El-Rufai, occupying the same seat in Kaduna. Where are both today?

“These are lessons everyone must learn from. I personally believe that El-Rufai was one of the most instrumental persons who helped Tinubu to be where he is not supposed to be, but see what is being done to him.

“Let Enugu people breathe. Call your people to order,” she wrote.
