‘CITY BOY MOVEMENT’ BUS INVOLVED IN FATAL ACCIDENT ALONG LAGOS-IBADAN EXPRESSWAY

A bus branded with the City Boy Movement logo was involved in a road accident along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, close to Ibadan, on Tuesday morning.

The incident reportedly triggered panic among motorists and other road users as passersby and motorists made efforts to assist occupants of the vehicle and clear the wreckage from the expressway.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus, believed to be associated with the support group, was travelling along the expressway when the accident occurred.

The crash also caused traffic to build up on the affected section of the road as motorists slowed down to navigate the scene.

As of the time of filing this report, the number of people injured and the extent of damage to the vehicle had not been officially confirmed.

Men of the Federal Road Safety Corps and other emergency responders were reportedly contacted to assist with rescue operations and traffic management.

The circumstances surrounding the crash, including what may have caused it and the number of people travelling in the bus, remained unclear as of press time.

Further details are expected from the authorities as emergency responders assess the scene.
