A prominent Peter Obi supporter, Precious Oruche, popularly known as Mama Pee, has launched a scathing attack on Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno over the police disruption of an Independence Day march by supporters of the Obi-Kwankwaso political movement in Uyo.
In videos shared on October 1, 2026, Mama Pee directly addressed Eno, questioning his conduct as an ordained pastor and governor while accusing him of ordering the police to attack supporters of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
“You are a Pastor Governor who behaves like Satan,” Mama Pee said while criticising Eno over the treatment of supporters during the planned march.
Her comments followed the arrest of Elijah Noah, the Akwa Ibom coordinator of the OK Movement, during preparations for the planned Two Million Man March in support of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Reports from Uyo said police officers disrupted the gathering, with claims that tear gas was used against supporters. Esther Umoh, a media aide to Obi, said Noah was arrested while participating in what she described as a peaceful march and alleged that tear gas was being fired at Obi supporters.
The police had earlier directed political parties, groups and associations to suspend and reschedule rallies, meetings, processions and other political activities scheduled for October 1.
Mama Pee calls out Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, and the State Commissioner of Police, Baba Mohammed, following the arrest of Elijah, one of the organisers of the Obi-Kwankwaso rally scheduled to hold today in Akwa Ibom State.
The command said the directive followed security intelligence indicating that some gatherings could be exploited to cause disturbances and threaten public peace. The police described the measure as precautionary and non-partisan.
However, supporters of the Obi-Kwankwaso movement rejected the directive, maintaining that the planned march was peaceful and that organisers had already made preparations for the event.

Mama Pee, in her videos, condemned the police action and directly linked the treatment of the supporters to the political leadership in Akwa Ibom, accusing Eno of using the police against opposition supporters.
She also criticised Commissioner of Police Baba Mohammed Azare over the arrest and disruption of the planned march.
The confrontation comes amid increased political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 presidential election, with the Obi-Kwankwaso movement expanding its activities across the country.
