THE RHETORICS OF DANIEL BWALA AND THE FUTURE OF MANY YOUNG NIGERIANS

Few days ago, Special Adviser to the president on Media and Policy Communications stated that Nigerians earning 60,000 Naira in Nigeria are better off compared to Nigerians earning about 2,600 Pounds in the United Kingdom. I am not a politician; neither am I a member of any political party in Nigeria, but one thing I have mastered over the years is studying people and patterns. I am going to tell you this for free today. Patterns do not lie. The best way to understand humans is to study their patterns. I have consistently study Daniel Bwala, and with every atom of honesty, inconsistency runs in his blood. The same person that told you that a Nigerian earning 60k in Nigeria is better than a Nigerian in the UK earning 2.6k Pounds will sing another song tomorrow when he is no longer benefitting from the government. That is his pattern!

Sometime ago, I made a post where I encouraged young Nigerians who want to seek greener pastures abroad not to be deceived or distracted by anyone. Some people came from different angles to attack me, but I really do not care because I will keep stating the truth and the obvious.

It is true that not everyone will travel, but it is even truer to say Nigeria is not for every young Nigerian. Not everyone can achieve success no matter how intelligent and creative you are, in a society where there are so many squares pegs in round holes. In a society where you must know someone who knows another person in government or politics to get a job. So what is the essence of education, intelligence, creativity, and expertise in the system? If you knew the number of dumb 3rd Class graduates that are occupying many sensitive positions in Nigeria, you would weep for the country! They are not there because they merit the positions. They are there because someone placed them there. That is how things work in Nigeria. That is why the public sector is a huge mess!

The same Daniel Bwala was living in the UK before he got a government appointment. The problem with many Nigerians is that they don’t carry out thorough research, and they find it difficult to think deeply. Go and do your research. Where is Daniel Bwala’s wife and children? His wife and children are living in Reading, United Kingdom. His wife works there and his children school there. A man whose wife and kids live in the UK permanently is discouraging you not to travel out. Shouldn’t Nigeria be a better place for them to live?

How many Nigerians earning 100k in a month can comfortably save 10k? Let us be sincere to ourselves. How many married men with children in Nigeria earning 300k a month can comfortably save 50k? How many Nigerians even earn up to 300k in a month?

That your brother or sister in Europe, America, Australia, etc that sends you 100k, 200k, 300k…ask yourself if he or she could do that if they were living in Nigeria. Nor be cho cho cho.

The Gospel Truth: Whether you like it or not, many Nigerians will NEVER count the Naira in millions until they leave the shores of Nigeria. You can save this anywhere! Nor be mouth.

Just like I stated earlier, not everyone will travel, but if you are a young person with high creativity and intelligence, and you don’t have the usual connection that some few people use in Nigeria, do not allow anyone to discourage you from travelling, or else, you will regret it in your later years when your bones are weak and your sight becomes blurry. You may not achieve much.
