A massive protest has erupted in Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State as residents openly rejected President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid, citing worsening insecurity, rising inflation, hunger, and deepening hardship across the country.
The people of Bakori came out in large numbers to send a clear political message: no amount of propaganda can erase the pain Nigerians are feeling daily. For them, the question is no longer about slogans or campaign promises, but survival, safety, and the basic dignity of ordinary citizens.
Protesters accused the Tinubu administration of failing to confront the realities that matter most to the people: the cost of food, the fear on highways, the burden of transport, and the collapse of household purchasing power.
From Katsina, the signal is loud and unmistakable: Nigerians are watching, Nigerians are judging, and 2027 will not be decided by praise singers. It will be decided by the people whose lives have been made harder.
