SO: What do you make of the proposition and permutations by Mr Dele Momodu for example yesterday. He said the best option for the ADC if it’s on the ballot for 2027 is to pair Atiku and Obi for the ticket?

YT: Now, let me make reference to the statement by His Excellency Rotimi Amaechi yesterday. He rightly said: The Party should make sure they choose the right candidate if they want to win election. Do you want to choose somebody who wil win the Primaries and lose the election or do you want to choose someone that will loose the election and only win the Primaries? And also, the fact still remains that it’s a Southern Presidency at the moment…

SO: So you will remove the Atikus of the this world and the Kwankwasos of this world and position only Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi?

YT: It’s a Southern Presidency and to make it easy for the Party to win, zone it to the South and give the candidacy to the South and you are sure of winning, anything short of that will only make the Party lose the election. And I am saying this, so that every Nigerian should go and do his or her own independent poll and it will clearly show that
And the moment you saw the euphoria and the kind of love that was shown to Peter Obi and Kwankwaso, you will know the Nigerian people have spoken. I can tell you for sure, if you have the pair (Peter Obi and Kwankwaso), by 12 o’clock, the election is over.
