The All Progressives Congress (APC), in Enugu State, has debunked as misleading reports that there were massive resignation of members.
The Party also said that there is no crisis, nor has there been any agitation against its leadership in the state.
It urged members of the public and party faithful to disregard reports portraying crisis in the party in the state.
It’s Publicity Secretary, Uche Obute, said that it’s leadership, stakeholders among others are committed, loyal, and satisfied with the party in the state.
Obute also said that there was no mass resignation of members in the state, adding that allegations of exclusion and marginalisation are complete falsehood and unfounded.
He said that Governor Peter Mbah has repositioned Enugu State as a stronghold of the APC.
“The Governor is widely known for his inclusive leadership style, carrying along both members of the old APC bloc and new entrants into the party. Today, all members of the National and State Assemblies from Enugu State, 17 LGAs Council Chairmen and councillors are all aligned with the APC.
“Similarly, all former governors and critical political stakeholders in the state have keyed into the party’s vision, creating an unprecedented level of unity and political consolidation. Both the old and new blocs are fully accommodated at all levels of party leadership—from the wards to the local government areas and the state structure”, he said.
