
Former chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ezeagu local government area of Enugu State, Hon. Franz Onuoha has bid farewell to to party and instead embraced the African Democratic Party, ADC.
Onuoha, who came to ADC secretariat, Enugu with some of his supporters said that he has over one thousand followers who are willing to register with ADC.
“I am Franz Onuoha. I am here to identify and be a member of ADC. Before now I was the chairman of ADC, Ezeagu local government.
“The people I came here with are not much but back home we have many members who are willing to join. They are more than a thousand,” he said, pointing out that they want to identify with a party that will liberate Nigeria and Enugu from bad governance and underdevelopment.
Happy at the coming of Hon. Onuoha and his entourage, the Enugu State chairman of ADC, Mrs Stella Chukwuma, said that ADC is the party to beat and many are itching to come and join.
“The person that came today is Hon. Franz Onuoha. A former staunch member of APC. He came with his people to register officially with APC but like I always tell people, everything is from your ward.
“They came, they told us what they have come to do, so they are going back to their wards to register. We are on a rescue mission. We don’t need to do much to make the people come to APC because nobody is happy with what is happening in Enugu state today.
“They are coming out in their numbers. The party in power is using e-registration to lure people. They say they want to do empowerment but they are luring people, giving them money and collecting their NIN for whatever purpose, I don’t know.

“People are rejecting them, they are coming and they are registering. So, we don’t need to talk much. Their tax that is driving the poor people out of their business.
“Oh, there are edifices here and there but go to the rural areas, you see that people are suffering. It is this suffering masses that are coming into ADC and they are the people that are going to vote,” she said.
Also speaking, the ADC deputy chairman, Mr. Obiora Obetta, said that they would soon start e-registration to welcome more members.
“To be a member of the party, you have to be up to 18 years and above. In no distant time, the online registration will kick off to welcome more members to the party that has come to rescue Nigerian,” Obetta said.
