Lere Olayinka, spokesperson of the minister, said the promotions followed examinations conducted from November 25 to 29, 2025.

Olayinka said those promoted include workers from the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) and the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

Emeka Ezeh, chairman of the FCT Civil Service Commission, said the promoted officers cut across 165 cadres in the service.

Ezeh described the exercise as a “clear demonstration of Wike’s commitment to staff welfare and career progression”, adding that promotion examinations would continue to be conducted as and when due.

He urged civil servants to begin early preparation for the 2025 and 2026 promotion exercises, noting that only diligent and hardworking staff would be promoted.

The commission chairman also reiterated its commitment to conducting promotion examinations through computer-based tests (CBT), adding that the process would deepen the digital platform for promotions earlier approved by the FCT minister.
