The Arise crew was forced to make a distress to their colleague who immediately alerted the police before dashing to the hotel.
Already, the police have taken the statements of all those involved.
The political thugs seized a Sonny Canada Zed 280, industrial tripod, wireless microphone and other accessories.
Ironically, the Arise News TV crew had earlier Friday covered an event by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Woke in Omoku in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni local government area.
