Some residents of Benin City were left infuriated when a family accused a mortuary of removing vital organs from their deceased relative’s body. The allegation quickly drew a crowd, causing chaos as people expressed their deep disappointment.

According to recent reports, GlimpseTV learned that a mortuary attendant in the Upper Sakponba area of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, Edo State, has been arrested by the police. This followed allegations from a family who claimed vital organs were missing from their relative’s body. The incident, which occurred on Friday, December 12, 2025, led to a chaotic scene at the facility.

The incident is now raising serious concerns across Nigeria, as many are left wondering whether the bodies of their loved ones are even safe in Nigerian morgues.
