Nigerian rapper and activist Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz has sparked controversy online after alleging that Bola Tinubu’s administration is “enabling terrorism.”

In a late-night post shared on his verified X handle, Falz wrote: “Let it be on record that the Tinubu government is enabling terrorism. Despicable.”

The remark quickly circulated across social media on Tuesday, drawing mixed reactions from Nigerians. While some users supported his criticism of the government’s handling of insecurity, others condemned the statement as too extreme or politically motivated.

Falz, known for his consistent activism and role in the 2020 EndSARS protests, has frequently used his platform to comment on governance and human-rights issues. His latest comment comes amid renewed public outcry over rising cases of banditry, kidnappings and terrorist attacks in parts of the country.

As of press time, the Presidency has not issued a response to the allegation. Officials have repeatedly defended the administration’s security strategy, insisting that ongoing reforms and military operations are aimed at restoring stability nationwide.
