Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and activist politician, Omoyele Sowore, have been released from Kuje Prison after perfecting their bail conditions.

Kanu’s brother, Prince Emmanuel was also released from the prison on Monday, alongside others arrested for participating in the #FreeeNnamdiKanuNow protest in Abuja.

Sowore, who led the protests, was subsequently arrested by the Nigeria Police Force when he visited the Federal High Court in Abuja for Nnamdi Kanu’s trial.

They were arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Kuje Area Council, which eventually granted them bail on Friday.

In a video published by SaharaReporters on Monday, Sowore, Ejimakor, Prince Emmanuel and the others were seen leaving the prison premises with their belongings while singing a solidarity song.

Ejimakor collapsed and was rushed to the Kuje Prison clinic for medical attention.
