The last has not been heard about the tragic death of a young and vibrant journalist working with Arise TV, Somtochukwu Maduagwu who lost her life during a robbery attack at her residence in the early hours of Monday in the Katampe area of Abuja.

An eyewitness, Hon Ejiro Okpihwo who spoke to Abuja PR practitioner, AlexReports said the robbers in their large numbers had invaded the block of 3-storey building on that fateful morning.

In a bid to conduct a swift operation, they divided themselves in groups to be robbing the flats one after the other.

Somtochukwu Maduagwu who lived in the 3rd floor after sighting the robbers was gripped in fear and had attempted to escape over possible fear of being molested.

“What the public should know is that the lady was not shot, contrary to narrative that it was a planned assassination. She jumped all the way from third floor and hit her head on the floor”, the eyewitness said.

Though the security man at the residence was killed of gun shot wounds in the process of gaining access into the compound.
