
Siminalayi Fubara on Friday addressed a mammoth crowd in Port Harcourt for the first time since the end of emergency rule in Rivers State.
The Rivers State Governor thanked the people for standing by him during the challenging period and assured them that his administration would remain focused on their welfare and development. He said the government’s priority was to continue delivering on its promises and sustaining the confidence of the citizens.
In a viral video, Fubara told the cheering crowd, “We will, by the grace of God, continue to do those things that has made you people love us.”
The governor’s remarks were met with loud applause, as supporters expressed excitement over the return to normalcy and the continuation of his leadership.
Fubara emphasized that his administration would not relent in pursuing policies that benefit the people and strengthen the unity of Rivers State. He pledged to consolidate on the achievements already made while ensuring that the state moves forward in peace and stability.
