PETER OBI IGNORES EDO GOVERNOR, ATTENDS BOOK LAUNCH IN BENIN

The moment was revealed in a post by the party’s interim National Chairman, Nenadi Usman, on her official X handle on Thursday, July 31, 2025. In the viral picture, Obi and Usman were seen smiling warmly alongside other attendees.
Usman clarified that the gathering was a book launch held in honour of the Esama of Benin. Sharing her excitement online, she wrote:
“Following the ceremony, I had the privilege of spending quality time with HE Peter Obi and Senator Darlington, where we engaged in meaningful discussions about the future of our great party.”
