REMI TINUBU WHO ONCE BORROWED MONEY FROM SHETTIMA’S WIFE NOW DONATING BILLIONS — WHAT’S SOURCE OF SUDDEN WEALTH?

Nigerians are raising eyebrows after Remi Tinubu, who once reportedly borrowed money from the wife of Vice President Kashim Shettima, is now donating billions of naira to Nigerians under the guise of philanthropy.

Remi Tinubu on Tuesday announced a ₦1 billion donation by the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) to support families displaced by a suspected herders’ attack in Benue State.

According to her, the donation, aligned with the mission of the Renewed Hope Initiative, is intended to help displaced families regain stability, return to their livelihoods, and build better lives.

Reacting to the development, an X user, @OurFavOnlineDoc, took to his X handle and questioned the source of Remi’s wealth.

He disclosed that before Remi went into the corridors of power, she borrowed money from Kashim Shettima’s wife. He charged Nigerians to fact-check his statement.

His post reads, “Before election, this woman was borrowing money from the wife of her husband’s VP. (You can Google this if you think it’s a lie).

“Two years after elections, she is donating 1billion naira to people. What exactly is the source of this sudden stupendous wealth within 2years????

Recall that on 16th February 2023, Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, revealed how she begged the wife of her husband’s running mate, Hajia Nana Shettima, for N2 million on Wednesday.

Oluremi said this to counter the belief of many who felt the family was wealthy and that her husband was popular because of money.
