SURPRISE AS RENO OMOKRI CELEBRATES PETER OBI ON 64TH BIRTHDAY
Nigerians on social media were left surprised this afternoon when former presidential aide and political commentator, Reno Omokri, publicly extended birthday wishes to his political rival, Peter Obi.
Obi who was the presidential flagbearer for Labour Party in the 2023 general election, turned 64 on July 19.
Reno who has been persistently critical of Peter Obi and has seized every opportunity to berate him, took to his social media handle to celebrate and wish him a happy birthday.
According to Reno, he does not in any way hate Obi but only stands up to speak against Obi whenever he demarkets Nigeria.
‘’”When Peter Obi criticizes the President, do you guys think he hates the President? No! So why do you think I hate him when I oppose him? I mean, we cannot be people who are governed by our emotions? If you rule by your emotions, you are going to be ruled by people who rule their emotions.
