EL-RUFAI ACCUSES TINUBU OF UNCONSTITUTIONAL MONTHLY DEDUCTION OF N100BN FROM FEDERATION ACCOUNT, CALLS FOR IMPEACHMENT

Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has accused President Bola Tinubu of unlawfully deducting ₦100 billion monthly from the Federation Account for the past 15 months without approval from the National Assembly.

El-Rufai describes these deductions as unconstitutional and impeachable.

He revealed that the funds, allegedly allocated to security agencies, have failed to improve security.

The accusations have stirred online debate, with some questioning El-Rufai’s sudden criticism after supporting Tinubu’s rise to power.

El-Rufai claims ₦100B is deducted monthly from the Federation Account.

The funds, supposedly for security agencies, have not improved security.
El-Rufai argues that the deductions are unconstitutional and deserve impeachment.

The deductions reportedly lack approval from the National and State Assemblies.
El-Rufai’s explosive allegations could escalate political tensions, as he challenges the lack of transparency surrounding the alleged deductions and the worsening security situation in Nigeria. His remarks have sparked both outrage and skepticism from Nigerians, further deepening political frustration.
