SIX BUHARI MINISTERS DUMP APC FOR ADC

At least six national figures in the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, have left the party for the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

The former APC members plan to help the coalition wrestle power from President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

The aggrieved APC members, who are uncomfortable with the present administration, joined forces with opposition figures on Wednesday ahead of the next election.

Recall that the opposition figures and the aggrieved APC members took over the leadership of ADC on Wednesday after adopting the party as official platform to contest the 2027 polls.

The aggrieved APC members consist of four former ministers that served under the immediate past administration led by former President, Mohammadu Buhari.

Here are the six bigwigs that dumped the ruling party to form opposition against Tinubu.

Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Transportation.

Abubakar Malami, former Minister of Justice.

Rauf Aregbesola, former Minister of Interior.

Kashim Imam, a businessman, and former board chairman of TETFUND.

Chief John Odigie Oyegun, former National Chairman of APC.
