
GENTLEMAN MIKE EJEAGHA LAID TO REST
Renowned Nigerian highlife musician and folklore icon, Gentleman Mike Ejeagha, has been laid to rest in his hometown of Umuagba, Imezi-Owa, in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Known for his didactic lyrics and preservation of Igbo oral traditions through music, Ejeagha enjoyed a decades-long career that earned him the title “Gentleman” and a revered place in Nigeria’s musical history.
Chief Ejeagha passed away earlier in the year at the age of 95, leaving behind a lasting legacy of cultural enrichment and musical excellence.
