RIVERS SOLE ADMINISTRATOR, IBAS APPOINTS 11 NEW PERMANENT SECRETARIES

Retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, the Rivers State Sole Administrator, has appointed eleven (11) new permanent secretaries.

The latest appointment was contained in a Special Government Announcement released in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.

The statement was signed by the state’s Acting Head of Service, Inyingi Brown and forwarded to journalists.

The newly appointed permanent secretaries would be sworn in by Ibas in the coming days.

The appointed permanent secretaries includes Lauretta Davies Dimkpa, Uche R. Ideozu, Chimenum Mpi, Jeremiah Egwu, Nicholas Iminabo Wokoma, Vera Sam Dike and Aleruchi Akani, Imaonyani Roselin, Ephraim-George, Dr. Mina T. Ikuru, Dabite Sokari George and Soibitein Duke Harry.

“The newly appointed permanent secretaries will be sworn in by His Excellency, the Administrator of Rivers State, on a date to be announced,” the statement partly read.

This is coming less than two weeks after Ibas unveiled plans for the phased rehabilitation of the State Secretariat Complex as part of his administration’s broader commitment to enhance public service delivery and improve the welfare of the workforce.
