HOW IMMIGRATION OFFICER REJECTED N10M BRIBE, iPHONE FROM FLEEING ALLEGED RITUALIST, EZEANI

In a rare show of integrity and gallantry, an Immigration Officer, Prince Orji Ugochukwu (Facebook name: Okeosisi Ugo), has made headlines after rejecting a ₦10 million bribe and expensive phones offered to him by a fleeing suspected ritualist identified as Ezeani, also known as Ichie Billion, and online as “E dey play, E dey show.”

Emergency Digest gathered that MUN (Maria Ude Nwachi), the suspect wanted in connection with multiple gruesome murders in Umumba, Ezeagu, Enugu State, allegedly buried several victims alive in a soakaway pit within his compound. Ezeani is said to be part of an occult group that carries out human sacrifices in pursuit of wealth and power.

Officer Ugochukwu narrated his courageous encounter in a private message shared with and seen by SPY NIGERIA.

“On Wednesday afternoon, while on duty at my checkpoint in Gbaji along Seme Road, I noticed a man on a bike who matched a viral photo of the wanted suspect. I flagged them down, but they refused to stop. I immediately chased them using another bike and caught up with them at the next immigration checkpoint.

When I confronted him, he denied being the man in the photo, claiming it was his brother and that he was just returning from the bank in Agbara. But then he offered me ₦10 million, saying, ‘People set me up because I was next in line to become the Igwe of our community.’ He even added an iPhone 13 Pro Max and a Tecno Camon 19, saying the iPhone alone was worth over a million naira.

I rejected his offers and insisted on taking him back to my checkpoint. I snapped his photo, which matched the viral images, and immediately sent a signal to our Seme Border Patrol Command. Once we confirmed his identity, I handcuffed him and transported him to our head office.”

The officer’s colleagues reportedly didn’t initially recognize the suspect — only Officer Ugochukwu did.

This act of bravery and integrity comes at a time when many law enforcement officers are frequently criticized for corruption. Ugochukwu’s actions stand as a powerful example of what it means to serve with honor.

The suspect, Ezeani, is now in custody and is expected to face justice for the heinous crimes he is accused of committing.
