Journalist Lere Olayinka posted a biting X commentary: “Senator Natasha Akpoti: Yahaya Bello harrassed you sexually, Dino Melaye harrassed you sexually, Akpabio harrassed you sexually. Na only you waka come” The pidgin phrase—“Are you the only one”

—dripped with sarcasm, spotlighting Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as an alleged target of three Nigerian political titans: Yahaya Bello, Dino Melaye, and Godswill Akpabio.

Bello, ex-Kogi governor, faces N80.2 billion fraud charges and famously dodged arrest. Melaye, a former senator, once quipped in 2016 that some men can’t resist harassment—an irony given the accusation.

Akpabio, current Senate President, allegedly made advances on Akpoti-Uduaghan, fueling Senate tensions in 2025.

All three are mired in scandals, yet Olayinka’s post suggests Akpoti-Uduaghan, a Kogi Central senator, bears a unique burden.

Details remain unconfirmed, but the claim underscores a grim reality for women in Nigerian politics.
