DONALD TRUMP SWORN IN AS 47TH US PRESIDENT, PROMISES NEW GOLDEN AGE
Newly elected US President, Donald John Trump has been sworn in as the 47th President of the United States of America.
Taking the oath of office, he says, “I Donald John Trump, do solemnly swear, that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend, the Constitution of the United States, so help me God,”
In his inauguration speech, Trump declared that “The golden age of America begins right now,” adding that the country will “flourish and be respected” under his leadership as a “peacemaker and a unifier”
The President further statef that “It will henceforth be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male and female,”
Trump also hits out at the Biden administration and its handling of the migrant crisis, saying the country has a crisis of “trust” in its government
