SUSPECTED TRANSFORMER VANDAL ELECTROCUTED IN ENUGU COMMUNITY

Tragedy struck on Monday night as a suspected transformer vandal was electrocuted in Ihe Primary School at Obukpa, Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State.

He was attempting to steal armoured cables belonging to the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC.

The remains of the victim revealed severe burns all over his body.

It was gathered that the suspect came with other accomplices (now at large) in a mini bus with registration number: BLF-203XA, which they abandoned at the crime scene when the incident happened.

It was further learned that the other suspected accomplices abandoned the victim to his fate and bolted when he was electrocuted.

According to an eyewitness account, when the mini-bus was searched, an identity card was discovered.
