MAN WHO OFFERED TINUBU N100M TO PURCHASE NOMINATION FORM GETS TWO FEDERAL APPOINTMENTS
THE Director General of the Tinubu Support Organisation for the 2023 polls, Hon. Aminu Suleiman, has been given two federal appointments by President Bola Tinubu.
The appointments were confirmed in a congratulatory poster that was shared on social media over the weekend by the appointee.
Recall that Suleiman as the DG of the TSO had said on April 20, 2022 that he had signed a cheque of N100 million to enable Tinubu purchase his Nomination and Expression of Interest forms from the All Progressives Congress ahead of the primaries of the party.
He wrote on his Facebook page, where he also shared a photograph he took with Tinubu and others om April 20, 2022: “I, Hon. Aminu Suleiman (D.G TSO) will like to officially state that i have signed A Cheque to the tune of 100 million Naira, for the purchase of Nomination and Expression of interest form for our Leader @officialABAT God bless.”
According to the congratulatory seen over the weekend, Suleiman is now the holder of two federal appointments.
He was first appointed as the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal College of Education and Technology, Keane, Nasarawa State.
And just on Saturday, he was nominated by President Tinubu as a member of the Governing Board of the North East Development Commission, subject to the confirmation of the Senate.
A statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the appointment.
He is one of the seven nominated members who will be on the Board of the NEDC apart from the Chairman, Ambassador Haruna Ginsau (Jigawa), and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Professor Abdullahi Shehu Ma’aji (Kano).
Suleiman is from Kebbi State.
