TINUBU NOT SOUTH WEST LEADER, BUT JAGABAN OF LAGOS – ONDO GOVERNOR’S AIDE

Nigerians, particularly on X, formerly Twitter, have called out one of the newly appointed senior special assistants to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, Oluyemi Fashipe.
However, after announcing the appointment, some X users went down memory lane to unearth multiple posts of Fashipe attacking the current Nigerian President and leader of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Tinubu.
“Good morning latest APC SSA to the governor. @YemieFash. If you delete old tweets,” one of the X users, @kokomatic posted.
Fasipe’s principal, Aiyedatiwa is a member of the APC and seeking re-election.
On 25th of June, 2020, Fasipe had said, “So who made Tinubu leader of the southwest? As far as I am concerned he is the Jagaban of Lagos state illiterates, and maybe their political leader in Lagos but apparently not in the southwest.
He can not take positions on behalf of the southwest. He should speak for himself,” the newly appointed SSA posted in a tweet with his username name, @ @YemieFash on 23rd of January, 2020.
Using same platform on 25th of June, 2020, Fasipe said, “Power is transient, Oshiomole is now to be addressed as former APC Chairman and Tinubu will be addressed as aggrieved National leader. Hmmmm.”
