I WAS ACCUSED OF PLANNING A COUP AFTER KENYA VISIT – OBASANJO

Elder statesman and former Nigerian president has said that he was once accused of planning a coup just for visiting an African country.

Chief Obasanjo shared the story after the Kenyan trip.

He said, the visit landed him in trouble in his country as he was accused of planning a coup.

Obasanjo said he had only gone to honour an invitation of the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga only to be confronted with the allegation upon returning home to the country?
