IFEANYI UBAH TO BE BURIED OCTOBER 11 – FAMILY SOURCES

The family of late senator, Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has announced his burial date.

According to family sources, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain will be buried on Friday, 11th October 2024.

Recall that Mr Ubah, who represented Anambra South Senatorial District, died aged 52 at the United Kingdom on July 27.

Sources said the senator slumped in London on Friday, July 26 and went into a coma.

According to the sources, Ubah had been battling an undisclosed ailment and the condition had worsened because he had been busy with preparation for his governorship campaign.

Until his death, he was the CEO of Capital Oil, which he founded in 2001. Capital Oil facilities and outlets are located mostly in Southeast and Southwest Nigeria, with one of the largest tank farms for petroleum products storage and distribution in Lagos.

Ubah founded the Ifeanyi Ubah F.C., a football club in the Nigeria Premier League, following its purchase as Gabros International Football Club.

He also founded a foundation named after him; Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation.
