SOUTH DEVELOPING N15.6TRN HIGHWAY, OUR WOMEN LINING UP TO RECEIVE CUPS OF RICE – PROF USMAN YUSUF

Professor Usman Yusuf, former Secretary of National Health Insurance Scheme, has spoken about the need for security to achieve development, especially in northern Nigeria.

He emphasized that without security, progress would be difficult to achieve

In a video recently shared on YouTube by Arise TV, Yusuf alleged that while the south is developing with projects like a 15.6 trillion naira highway, many in the north were struggling, with women lining up for small amounts of rice.

He also reminded leaders of their responsibilities. He said that on judgment day, God will ask them what they did with the power and resources they were given.

In Yusuf’s words: “South is developing N15.6trn highway but our women are lining up to receive cups of rice.”Leaders must look at themselves and remember that on that day that is certain, God almighty will ask them what did they do when he gave them this responsibility; so far they are not doing well”.
