Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has descended heavily on President Muhammadu Buhari, telling him not to contemplate coming out in 2019 to contest for President.
In a 13-page press release, the former President said Buhari had woefully failed the nation and that both he and his APC had no answer to the problems of the country.
Obasanjo said that Buhari had betrayed the hope of those who voted for him in 2015 and that he should go home and take care of his health.
He said that Nigeria’s problems required 25/7 attention, and not 24/7 attention, and that Buhari was not capable of doing this.
Obasanjo was not happy with nepotism introduce in the art of governance by President Buhari and said that he should have seen the whole Nigeria as his constituency instead of giving appointments to only people from his own area.
He decried the level of corruption in the present federal government administration and told Buhari not to listen to the self-serving antics of those who were now urging him to come out to contest the 2019 election.
