PETER OBI SHOULD PROTECT HIMSELF, IF HE IS SHOT, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN – FAPOHUNDA

OIP 89 3

Robert Kennedy was shot in a campaign event. He was trying to run for the President of the United States, he was Attorney-General then, but he was shot, so assassination is not a big deal if you have contesting powers that are not civilised.

The reign of the Governor of Edo State (I can’t even pronounce his name), is just has a village mentality and he is sincere in what he is doing so I can’t fault him. He was catapulted there by Oshiomhole and he is doing their bidding, just like Adedibu in Ibadan those days, Adedibu was able to do anything he likes those days so Oshiomhole can do anything he likes now too. Oyegun’s house is next to Government House from what I heard, if you shout, infact that street ought to have been cordoned off routinely. How come the same street if the Government House, how came 30 people will bring convoy of vehicles, we are on air, don’t let us talk about this. It’s just symptomatic of who we are, might is right. Once you have power of the state, you can do anything.

The very bad thing is for people to be insulting our intelligence, saying it is intra-party activities and all that whereby it’s people like Afegbua (Edo State Information Commissioner) that argues like that. The man sometimes, insults intelligent people. I wonder who he is, this Afegbua man, he says things that I wonder whether, I want to respect him as an individual but his views are totally pedestrian, it’s not valid.

If any of them could have been shot, even if Peter Obi had been shot, what will happen? Nothing. Bola Ige was shot, what happened, nothing. In this country, a sitting Attorney-General, so if Peter Obi was shot, what will happen? They will sign statements, condemn it, say a dastardly act, we will bring the perpetrators to book, we will do this and that, will that not be all? That will be all. Will anybody resign because of it? Will the IGP leave his desk? Will the Governor leave his position? Anybody who dies, just dies, that’s just the truth. If Bola Ige could die, Harry Marshall could die, if you are shot by the Police you are shot, that’s the way we are.

America, just four soldiers died, they are having funeral. The way the Government in America values their citizens, is that the way we value ours in Nigeria? Peter Obi better protect himself and not just die in vain, that’s what I can advise him. If he dies, nothing will happen. There will be little riots here and there but that will be the end.
