PDP HOLDS CRUCIAL NEC MEETING MAY 27

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially reaffirmed the date for its 99th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, set to hold on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

In a public notice released via the party’s official social media channels, the PDP reminded all constitutionally accredited NEC members to attend the meeting promptly by noon at its national secretariat in Abuja.

This confirmation follows the resolution reached during the party’s 600th National Working Committee (NWC) meeting held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, where it was agreed to convene the NEC.

Acting National Chairman H.E. Amb. Iliya Damagum had also addressed the media on the same day, announcing the NEC summon.

The meeting is expected to address key issues concerning the party’s future direction and internal strategies ahead of upcoming political engagements.
