TRADITIONAL RELIGIONISTS WANT TINUBU, OTHERS TO SWEAR ON GOD OF IRON
Report had it that traditional Religion worshippers in Nigeria want Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governors-Elect and other politicians to be sworn in on the God of Iron before entering their various offices.
Sahara Reporters had tweeted that “Traditional Religion Worshippers want Tinubu, others to swear on God of Iron, rather than the Bible or Qur’an on May 29”
Reacting to the report, former Senator, playwright and human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani, tweeted: “They should wait for Minister of Mines and Steel.”
The report has left many Nigerians and social media users buzzing, with several reactions from social media users.
Some of those who reacted said they found it very funny, while some others said the gods are not to be blamed for their request because bribery and corruption were on the increase in the country.
